About the Doula
Elizabeth is the owner and operator of Yellowbird Birth Services. She is a Florida native and has lived in the panhandle for most of her life. She is a mother of two beautiful girls, Piper (three) and Paisley (one and a half); dog mom to two Australian Shepherds, Quigley and Alex; and wife to Paxton, a deputy sheriff. The Shelton family currently resides in Baker. Elizabeth devotes her life to the Lord and works hard to live out his love, grace, and mercy in her daily life.
Elizabeth has had a passion for empowering women her whole life. That passion transformed into a desire to become a doula in 2012 after supporting her sister through the cesarean birth of her twins. The birth of Elizabeth's girls were each dramatically different and pushed her even harder to pursue her career. Elizabeth focused her time on her daughters until her doula training in 2015. She is currently completing her certification.
Elizabeth believes whole-heartedly in a woman's ability to birth and nourish her babies and looks forward to supporting you in those journeys!
